I guess MISC JB is going to hit another record breaking this month. Profit is for sure and lifting (in TEUs) as well. Based on pre Monthly Performance Report (MPR), I guess JB will break 2,000 TEUs barrier this month. Huhuhuuuuuuuuuuuu... b.a.n.g.a.u pun b.a.n.g.a.u la.. we don't care. WOW? Wow is it? Better save the wow! before we officially publish the MPR before 3rd. Dec 2007. Kang tak dapat kang, haru biruuuuu... mula la c.r.a.p atau g.o.o.s.e.....

JOHOR: Gambar kali ini merakamkan suasana majlis persandingan 'Afifi & Herlieyanti di rumah ayahanda beliau, Hj. Mashudan Bin Kamar (bapa saudara aku) yang berlangsung di Patah Pedang eh.. Pedang Patah (eh.. iye kot.. aku confuse dgn Gelang Patah, JB). Apa2 pun, majlis ni berlangsung kat Batu Pahat.

Majlis kali ni dibuat serentak dengan Angah (adik 'Afifi) bersama isteri beliau, Ila. Maaf, nama penuh belum ingat lagi. Aku mohon maaf pada keluarga pengantin sebab tak dapat hadir pada hari tersebut atas sebab2 yang tak dapat dielakkan.

Segala gambar kahwin depa ni semua, Kamil & Radhi yang amik. Aku edit aje (keje senang).. Depa berpeluh2 sampai tetido2 pun ada... Apa taknya, malam sebelum majlis, photoangels ni pi tido kat JB, esok pepagi baru gerak ke Batu Pahat. Hmm... takpe la. Janji gambar kahwin pasti yang terbaik.

Kali ni jugak, ada gambar pengantin kat pantai. Gambar2 diaorang ni banyak. Tak larat aku nak upload sumer dalam segmen kali ni. Last sekali, bila majlis nih berakhir, tinggal la depa2 yg tersenarai kat bawah ni je yg belum berumahtangga:-

Kami nih semua sepupu rapat. Dari kecik sampai beso. Masa kecik dulu cuma jumpa bila time cuti sekolah aje. Jumpa pun kat kampung umah nyai. Aktiviti utama mandi sungai (kalo hujan, frust tertonggeng), main beskal ala-camel trophy, gi bando (tgk wayang-naik bas/teksi), main tembak2 (pistol yg pelurunya kertas kaler merah tu), main saidina (zul suka main tipu dulu), main banglak (black jack), boleh kata main je la... main sana main sini.. Siang malam main. Ada aje mende yg kitaorang nak try. Pernah sekali, main lidi (dah asah depan lidi bagi tajam, ala memanah), sekali tu main, lidi aku tercucuk kat bawah mata (bukan anak mata) Zul. Hehehe... Sorry geng! Kitaorang dulu fobia dgn satu mamat ni, namanya Arwan/Irwan (ntah la aku pun tak ingat) sebab badan dia besooo giler. Pastu kitaorang ni fobia gak dgn lembu sebab pernah kena kejo lembu masa balik dari mandi sungai. Hmmm.... semuanya dah berlalu 23 tahun dulu. OK lah, aku berhenti menulis dulu. Esok nak interview orang. Kang interviewer lak yg tetido.

JOHOR: Two weeks after Zul's engagement in Penang, I drove back to Batu Pahat for attending another wedding occasion. It was a wedding invitation from our cousin (on my mother side) named 'Afifi Mashudan and his spouse, Herlieyanti. Both Johorian.. Senang la korang nak balik kampung, ye??

There are many cases where modern couples originating from two cities/states which are miles away like Kangar and Kajang, a couple from Keramat and Marang, also another married couple from Kedah and Perak (nih dekat, tak aci-selang satu negeri aje). Even our cousin will be soon celebrating raya by travelling more than 800 km if they are going to celebrate raya at both cities la i.e. Batu Pahat or Seberang Perai. I am just waiting a friend of mine who lived in Putrajaya tu, silap2 haribulan wedding dengan Pākehā (Māori term generally used to describe New Zealanders of British or European ancestry).

Well, that does not really matters at all actually. What matters a lot is that we choose whom to be our beloved wife/husband and we are happy with our choice! Jauh ke dekat ke, tu belakang kira.

The daily jobs are challenging each day but I took it positively although sometimes I felt I wanna collapse (perhaps it wouldn't). Penat dah memang penat. Travelling up and down to KUL every week is a must. What to do... but I am still happy with my choice!

On last Saturday, I caught a fever. A day before, I already felt dizzy all day and sour throat. Moreover, I couldn't sleep well at my auntie's house because it was sooooo soooo cold. No aircond, no fan.. the house built in brick walls. Weirdly, I felt so #@$&! COLD. It just like you were sleeping in Northern part of Siberia where the temperature below 0°C.

Bak kata frasa Melayu;
Gagahkan jua kaki ni untuk berdiri bila mengenangkan hasrat ibu bapa nak tengok anak saudara seterusnya berkahwin..

Throughout the day, my dad was driving the car all the way. Heh, aku tetido kat co-pilot seat. Tetido means unintentional nap la. Well, the occasion held in Simpang Renggam (bride's house). As usual, thirteen cars were back-to-back in convoy. THIRTEEN CARS?? Fuhh.. bukan korang je terkejut, aku pun tak sangka..

Ten o'clock, we arrived safely at Kg. Linau Simpang Renggam. The solemnisation held at Masjid Kg. Linau. After makan2 and photography session, we held back to KUL. MYAdik yang amik gambar apa sumer. Aku makan pun tak larat.... Along the way balik ke KUL pun aku tetido lagi. Heh... Sorry dad!

Congratulation to 'Afifi & his spouse Herlieyanti. May Allah bless both of you. For Herlieyanti, welcome to our big family. Our family is getting bigger and bigger and bigger..

PENANG: A week after we celebrate Aidilfitri 1428H, I went back to Kuala Lumpur for joining an engagement convoy. It was a lovely and shiny day. We began the journey from Kuala Lumpur at exactly 0730 hours. The convoy consist of three cars where there were five families i.e. Pak Ngah, Mak Ngah, kak long Dr. Arifah & Radhi (bridegroom's family), my dad (negotiator for bridegroom's family) & mom, Cik Azmi & Mak Tun, Mak Long, our beloved nyai (grandmother), Princess Fara, Farhan, Fahmi and I.

The journey took four hours and we arrived safely at my in-law house in Taman Inderawasih. It had been agreed by all members that we would transit at Taman Inderawasih for lunch + break and compose ourselves before the event. All family members were wearing batik clothing except for the bridegroom. Zul memang tak minat pakai baju batik, katanya... For me, it's okay as long as he's well composed.

Two o'clock, the bride's family was expecting us with warm welcome. Zul looked tremble that moment. Hahahaha... Radhi who had been purposely assigned as a photographer, started capturing pictures during the event. We were there for almost two hours. We had been served lunch (third lunch I guess because we had our first at Bukit Gantang R&R and the second was at my in-law house). Fuhh... the meal was so great! You can't resist masakan Penang... pedassszzzz! BEST! In fact, I was the one who ate more than a plate. Zul, as usual, control macho habis... Bak kata pepatah, mandi tak basah, makan tak kenyang. Aku belasah aje tiga2 lunch tu...

Everybody seem happy. Finally, their wedding will be held in mid March 2008. Sabar josh... Sekalung tahniah buat sepupu aku, Zul Hilmi serta tunangnya Siti Suzana Sulaiman. Moga pertalian ini diberkati Allah.
